Can you drink if ?
Can you drink if you’ve taken an hCG injection?
I have been doing fertility treatments. Last tuesday I took my hCG shot. I know for a fact that I ovulated, HOWEVER, I ovulated from the side that I have a blocked tube, so there is NO chance of pregnancy. I would like to have a few drinks over the holidays, anyone know if this is something that should be avoided due to side effects on me?
I am NOT pregnant, I would never drink if I thought there was even a chance that I could be.
How do I know that I ovulated from the blockes side? Huge cramps, swelling and discomfort (on that side)!
wow, first i have to say im sorry that the previous people that have responded are obviously missing a few marbles lol! Unfortunately i cannot give you sound advice because i have never been in this position and i don’t have alot of knowledge of the hcg injections. What i will suggest is that maybe it’s best to stay safe, and don’t drink. I’d had to know that a couple of drinks could possibly harm you, or could prevent things from working correctly in the future. You could try calling your doctor and asking thier opionion however im pretty sure they will instruct you to stay clear of alcohol. Goodluck! and worse case scenario i wouldn’t drink more than a glass of wine. Merry Christmas!!!
